The Diablo Scorpion Lacrosse Club

 

Diablo Scorpion Lacrosse Club is a non-profit corporation whose goal is to provide the children of the San Ramon Valley School District (Danville, Alamo and San Ramon, California) the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. We were established in 2001.

We are a club sponsored program run by volunteers and paid coaches. We have established both girls and boys programs and currently have 35 club teams ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

 

Our Teams:

BOYS:
Senior 14U: 12 and 13-year-olds
Junior 12U: 10 and 11-year-olds
Lightning 10U: 8 and 9-year-olds
Bobblehead 8U: 2nd and 3rd Grade

GIRLS:
Senior 14U: 12 and 13-year-olds
Junior 12U: 10 and 11-year-olds
Lightning 10U: 8 and 9-year-olds
8U: 2nd and 3rd Grade

 

We have approximately 660 players in our program in its 11th year. In our first year we had 150 players, in the second 250 players. Our growth has been fueled by the kids desire to play this great game and our success in attracting top notch coaching talent. We are the largest program in the State of California based upon US Lacrosse membership.

Our players generally end up playing lacrosse at the following High Schools: Monte Vista, San Ramon Valley, De La Salle, Carondolet, California, and Dougherty Valley. The head coaches for all these teams are active participants in the Scorpion program.

Our team colors are orange & navy. Our helmets & jerseys are orange with blue letters and white trim with blue shorts. Our team mascot is the Scorpion.

Our home fields are Diablo Vista Middle School, Diablo Vista Park Turf Field, Tassajara Hills Elementary School,  Blackhawk Soccer field, Creekside Elementary, and the Sycamore Turf Fields. All fields are in Danville.

Our season will run from Jan - May and we will be holding special clinics for players in the off season (December - February) to allow them to start or continue working on their skills.


You must be a resident of Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo or San Ramon, California. Exception to this rule is if your child attends a SRVUSD School. Exceptions must be approved by the Board of directors. Please contact the registration director at registration@scorpionlacrosse.org with a written request for consideration

Refund Policy

Spring Refund Policy ​

 

  • Full refund of league fees less a $40 administration fee will be approved for any requests prior to November 15th
  • Full refund of league fees less a $40 administration fee for medical-related requests prior to December 15th
  • A 50% refund will be approved for non-medical requests from November 16th - November 30th
  • No refunds after December 15th

 

Fall Ball Refund Policy

  • Full refund of league fees less a $20 administration fee will be approved for any requests prior to September 11th
  • A 50% refund will be approved for non-medical requests from September 12th - September 30th
  • No refunds after October 1st

Refund Policy for other items and merchandise

  • No refunds for uniforms, gear bags, Scorpion spirit wear, or other merchandise sold by the club
  • US Lacrosse Membership fees are paid direct to US Lacrosse and are not refundable by Scorpion Lacrosse
