Leslie Lorio

"Playing for the Scorpions was so special to me because of the opportunity to be coached by both of my parents, the lifelong friends I made throughout my seven years with the club, and the happiness that was brought to me. Scorpions is where my passion for the game of lacrosse started and developed as I was able to have so much fun and success with my favorite people beside me.

The club fosters a culture of friendship, hard work, competition, and collaboration, which are all aspects that I respect and embody. i loved having the opportunity in high school to come back to help coach younger teams to develop the girls' love for the sports and to reciprocate the amount of support and care I got when I played for the club."

Graciela Kerr

"Playing for Scorpions facilitated the opportunity for me to play lacrosse in college and internationally, meet inspiring coaches, and connect with lifelong friends. I owe so much of the happiness in my life to this program.

Scorpions grew my love for the game of Lacrosse, challenged my competitiveness, and helped me grow as a leader.

In addition, my teammates are some of the best friends I have ever made. Even halfway across the country, I will forever be in debt to this program for developing the connections I have now. Had it not been for my youth coaches, I would not be the athlete, teammate, or friend I am today.

My hope is that I am able to replicate the same support system and loving family of scorpions I grew up with, for the youth of the program now. When we all play, we all win... and I am all in to help us all play and all win!"

Carson Miks

"My name is Carson Miks and I am a Senior Three time Varsity Team Captain at Monte Vista High School.

I am committed to play Division 1 Lacrosse for Marquette University next Fall. I have recently been named an Adrenaline All American, and I am a two time EBAL First Team All League player.

I started playing Scorpions Lacrosse when I was 8 years old. I think playing for Scorpions set me up to become the player I am today.

I love the program so much that I have become a coach for the U12 team. If I had to give advice to upcoming Scorpions players, I would say if you love the game it will love you back!"

Abigail Cheun

I’m a Scorpion alum playing since U8 and have loved being a part of the program, playing and coaching!

Scorpions Lacrosse has been truly an amazing part of my life! I’ve met so many great people, connected with my community, and overall had the best time playing lacrosse with my teammates!!"
